My Exhibition in the Cafe at South Square Cafe finishes next Thursday 5th of March so there’s still a week left to catch it!
A few pieces have found new ‘forever homes’. The Crow in Peacock’s Clothing will be off to it’s new owner next week. Birds Eye Q and Little Red have already gone. Many thanks to the Cafe for hosting my peculiar creatures and extra special thanks to people who’ve bought pieces and helped to keep the wolf from the door.
Also*** I’m running a workshop at South Square Centre this Sunday as part of their ‘In the Making’ project. It’ll be a workshop with opportunities for tea and cake, or tea and cakes with an opportunity to do a bit of stitchery if you prefer! We’ll be making some bizarre blooms and bejewelled critters and turning them into brooches or fascinators. I’ll provide everything you need but if you’d like to bring along any personal bits and pieces you’d like to incorporate – old fabrics, buttons, old half finished textile work you’ve given up on – that would be great. It runs between 12.30 and 3.30 and costs £6. Contact South Square if you’d like to book – it was filling up fast but I think there are spaces left.
