I spent a couple of days in a primary school this week helping them to make banners to carry in Stockton Carnival. I was slightly worried about trying to explain the Periodic Table to 9 and 10 year olds but there was no need! They did some brilliant work on their selected elements. I’m looking forward to seeing them dressed as mad scientists, in lab coats and goggles, waving their banners as part of this years SIRF carnival. We had a bit of a practice in the playground. The banana banner is Potassium!
